UK Court Rejects Craig Wright’s Claim of Creating Bitcoin

The UK Court of Appeal has rejected Craig Wright’s request to overturn the previous ruling and confirmed that he is not Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin.

The UK Court of Appeal has rejected Craig Wright’s request to overturn the previous ruling and confirmed that he is not Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin. Justice Arnold stated that Wright’s appeal was “completely baseless.” This ruling upholds the previous decision of the High Court, which dismissed Wright’s claim of being Bitcoin’s creator. The ruling was issued after 22 days of trial and reviewing the testimonies of 15 witnesses. The court clarified that Wright not only did not write the Bitcoin White Paper but also did not create Bitcoin’s original source code or launch the Bitcoin network. This decision further strengthens the anonymity of Satoshi Nakamoto, making it even more difficult to uncover his identity.
