Abbas Ashtiani has been elected as the head, and Sadegh Azadani as the secretary of the “Digital Currency and Blockchain Commission” of the National IT Organization of Iran (Nasr). In its seventh term, the National IT Organization has launched 14 specialized commissions. These commissions play a key role in providing consultation and decision-making for the organization’s components. Their activities include policy-making, expert opinions, consultations, drafting regulations, and tariff proposals. One of these commissions, the “Digital Currency and Blockchain” commission, met on August 19 at the Nasr headquarters. During the voting, Abbas Ashtiani was elected as the head and Sadegh Azadani as the secretary of the Blockchain Commission.
