Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has reappeared on Google Play and the App Store in India after a seven-month ban due to non-compliance with local regulations. Binance confirmed that it has registered as a reporting entity with the Financial Intelligence Unit of India (FIU-IND), a legal requirement for all active cryptocurrency exchanges in India to combat money laundering. Binance announced this registration as its nineteenth global regulatory achievement and emphasized that India ranks among the top five countries in terms of estimated transaction volume across all cryptocurrency ecosystems.
